From master winemaker and viticulturist Philippe Langner of Hesperian Wines - Atlas Peak - comes Anatomy Wines.

For the Anatomy label, Philippe wanted to make a more affordable Napa Cabernet Sauvignon so that more people could taste the good wines he makes. He called it Anatomy because “we sometimes use anatomical descriptors like legs, backbone, etc.” to describe wines. With a limited use of oak in the ageing process, Philippe brings out freshness and character of the fruit in a more subtle Bordeaux style of winemaking.

After great success with the Anatomy Cabernet Sauvignon, Philippe recently produced a Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and Sonoma Valley Chardonnay with the same philosophy of affordability, quality and expression of the terrior.
